To set-up accounts for Outlook 98, 2000 and Outlook XP, you should be able to follow a similar process to the one detailed below.

You can configure Outlook 2003 to check as many email accounts as you like - just follow the procedure below:

  • Start Outlook
  • From the Tools menu, choose the E-mail Accounts option.
  • When E-mail Accounts wizard starts, choose the Add a new e-mail account option and click on Next.

  • From the Server Type dialogue choose the POP3 option, and click Next.

  • Complete the Internet E-mail Settings dialogue using the details supplied in the email you should have received. It should look something like this -

  • Click More Settings and choose the Outgoing Server tab to complete configuration of the Outgoing (SMTP) server as below, then click OK to return to the Email Accounts Dialog above.

  • Click on the Test Account settings to check that all the information you have entered is correct. If required Outlook will automatically initiate a dial-up networking connection using your default ISP.
  • If you get any errors when testing the settings, please re-check this page, and re-read the email that came with your details. If you still get errors please contact the Webmaster for help.
  • Click Next to complete your account set-up and return to the E-Mail Accounts dialog below, then click Finish to return to Outlook.
